Beautiful vintage Chinese Wang Xifeng (???) character display doll, depicting one of the principal characters from the celebrated Chinese literary classic Dream of the Red Chamber (The Story of the Stone).

This highly detailed doll features an elegant traditional costume with multiple layers of richly patterned fabric in cream, black, red, turquoise, green and gold. Decorative details include ornate gold-tone jewelry, an embellished collar, embroidered waist sash, elaborate hair ornaments and exceptionally long black hair.

The doll is posed holding a small accessory and stands on its original rectangular wooden display base. The original character label on the front identifies her as Wang Xifeng (???).

A beautiful decorative collectible with wonderful detail throughout, ideal for collectors of Chinese cultural dolls, Asian art and décor, traditional costume dolls, or Dream of the Red Chamber memorabilia.

Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. Some age-related wear is visible, including wear/aging to the paper identification label and minor wear to the wooden base.
