Hand-wrought in Mexico, this vintage sterling silver brooch features 19 round, polished green turquoise cabochons in a wreath-like circle. The inner edge has a twisted rope border, while the exterior edge is a circle of individually crafted beads, alternating between 1mm and 3mm.  The cirles are divided by a fine twisted rope. The pin is circa 1950's. The closure is a hinged pin on a locking "C" clasp, which is typical of jewelry from this era. The back is stamped Sterling MEXICO. The brooch is approximately 2" in diameter and is versatile, as it can be worn by anyone on a variety of outfits. AdminCode: 33121/15
