Great 1970s model railroading reference lot from the classic Railroad Model Craftsman (RMC) series. All issues feature detailed plans, photos, kitbashing tips, and structure techniques – perfect for narrow gauge, steam loco fans, HO/N scale modelers, or collectors of vintage railroad mags.

February 1974 (#4079): Plans: DL&W 4-8-4; Narrow Gauge Hopper. Jim Paine's structure casting techniques. Cover shows narrow gauge hopper scene.

March 1974: Sunset on the Milwaukee's Electrics (cover feature with steam/diesel photos). Kitbashing structures, N scale PRR Mikado, period hopper plans, narrow gauge caboose.

April 1974 (#47370): Plans: GE's tiny new U-boat; ATSF's big domes. Kitbashed water tower, Rio Grande Mikado "different" version, RMC's paper crisis response.

Condition: Acceptable to Good overall for 50+ year old magazines – covers show some wear (edge rubs, corner creases, minor spine stress, light soiling/fading typical for age), pages intact and readable with no major tears/losses. Bindings solid, no musty smell. Great for reading/reference or adding to a vintage rail mag collection.

1970s is sought after for its practical modeling content (plans, scratchbuilding, kitbashing) and historical railroad features.
