Vintage Japanese Kutani Style Cobalt Blue Teapot Pheasants Peonies Gold Enamel Bamboo Handle Marked Japan

A beautiful vintage Japanese porcelain teapot in the classic Kutani style. Featuring a rich cobalt blue ground hand-painted with vibrant pheasants (or phoenix-like birds), lush peonies, cherry blossoms, and foliage in multicolored enamels with generous 22k gold accents and trim.

The teapot has a coiled rattan/bamboo-style wrapped handle with metal fittings, a fitted lid with knob, and a graceful spout. Interior is white-glazed with strainer holes near the spout. Marked on the base with a red Japanese seal "??" (In-tani style mark) and "JAPAN" – typical of mid-20th century export pieces from the Kutani region.

Size: Approx. 4.5" tall (body) x 6.5" long x 4.5" diameter; stands 7" tall with handle raised.

Condition: Very good vintage condition – no chips, cracks, or restoration noted. Minor surface wear/gold rub consistent with age and gentle use; displays beautifully!
