This lot includes one roll of unsorted Lincoln Wheat Cents, containing approximately 50 coins. Wheat cents are a classic piece of American coinage and remain one of the most popular United States coin series for collectors of all experience levels.

The Lincoln Wheat Cent was introduced in 1909 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. Designed by Victor David Brenner, the coin became the first regular issue United States coin to feature a historical person. Its reverse features two wheat stalks surrounding the denomination and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, creating the distinctive design that gave these coins their Wheat Cent nickname.

The series was produced from 1909 through 1958, with coins struck at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints. Over its 50 year run, the series produced numerous dates, mint marks, varieties, and lower mintage issues that collectors continue to search for today.
