This lot includes one roll of unsorted Lincoln Wheat Cents containing approximately 50 coins. The visible end coin shows the classic Wheat Cent reverse with ONE CENT and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA surrounded by the familiar wheat stalk design.

Lincoln Wheat Cents were struck from 1909 through 1958 and represent one of the most collected series in American numismatics. The design was created by Victor David Brenner and introduced in 1909 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. It was also the first regular issue United States coin to feature a historical person.

The distinctive wheat stalk reverse remained on the Lincoln Cent for 50 years. During that period, Wheat Cents circulated through some of the most significant events in American history, including World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, and the postwar economic boom.

Coins in the series were produced at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints. With decades of dates, mint marks, varieties, and different mintage figures to collect, Wheat Cents have remained a favorite series for coin roll searching and album building.
