This lot includes one roll of unsorted Lincoln Wheat Cents containing approximately 50 coins. The visible end coin displays the iconic Wheat reverse, one of the most recognizable designs in classic United States coinage.

Lincoln Wheat Cents were produced from 1909 through 1958. Designed by Victor David Brenner, the series debuted in honor of the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth and marked the first time a historical person appeared on a regular issue United States coin.

The reverse features the denomination ONE CENT and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA framed by two wheat stalks. This distinctive design remained in use for 50 years before being replaced by the Lincoln Memorial reverse in 1959.

Wheat Cents were struck at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints, creating a large series filled with different dates, mint marks, varieties, and mintage levels. Searching old rolls has long been a favorite way for collectors to build sets and hunt for interesting pieces.
