Lot of 2 Walking Liberty Half Dollars – 1946 & 1948 – 90% Silver U.S. Coins

This listing features a pair of classic Walking Liberty half dollar coins dated 1942 and 1943. Designed by renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman, the Walking Liberty design is widely considered one of the most beautiful ever used on U.S. coinage. These coins contain 90% silver and were struck by the United States Mint.

Both coins display the iconic image of Liberty striding toward the rising sun with the American flag draped around her, and the reverse features a perched eagle with outstretched wings. A great addition for silver stackers or collectors of historic U.S. coinage.
