Lot of 2 Large Brass Wall Plates 12.25" Embossed Sailing Ship + Tavern Scene England

For sale is a lot of 2 large vintage embossed brass decorative plates / wall chargers, each measuring approximately 12.25 inches (31 cm) in diameter.

Plate 1: Features a detailed raised relief of a sailing galleon ship on the water, with an ornate rope-twist and scroll border.

Plate 2: Shows a charming tavern/pub interior scene with figures drinking at a table and a standing musician, also with the same decorative border.

Both plates have a rich golden brass finish with raised, embossed designs. They include hanging loops on the back for easy wall display.

Markings:

Clearly stamped "Made in England" on the back of both plates.

Condition:

Very good vintage condition with nice aged patina. Expected surface wear, light scratches, and minor tarnish consistent with age (see all photos). No major dents or damage. The raised details remain crisp and they display beautifully.

These make a fantastic matched pair for nautical, English pub, or vintage brass collectors. Perfect for wall art, a shelf display, or adding to a collection of English metalware!
