The works of art by Liudmila Kondakova are so rich with clarity and light they reflect in their extraordinary draftsmanship a sense of artistic and spiritual well-being. Her meticulous attention to detail allows us to become intimately involved in the life of her paintings.
Since her childhood in Russia, Kondakova has been fascinated by traditional art, by a sense of spirituality that transcends common existence. Her painting technique is that employed by medieval egg-tempera painters. Her palette—influenced by the icon painters of Byzantium and later, Russia—is both vibrant and beautiful, with colors that blend in a subtle, poetic balance.
Born in Russia in 1956, Liudmila Kondakova immigrated to the United States in 1991. A graduate of the Grabar Center in Moscow, she also attended Russia’s School of Sacred Arts, the Moscow Pedagogical Institute and the Moscow Art Institute.
Original paintings and limited edition prints by Liudmila Kondakova have an honored place in private collections around the world.

QART ships to the 50 United States via UPS or USPS. As UPS does not ship to them, orders with P.O. Box addresses may be held until a street address is obtained and will be cancelled if a street address cannot be obtained within a reasonable time. QART reserves between 3 - 8 business days for an order to ship from our Los Angeles based warehouse. Returning Merchandise/RMA Requests
All requests for returns must be made within 15 days of the item's receipt. You must obtain a valid RMA number from QART before returning your merchandise. To obtain a RMA #, please email your username, the auction listing number, and reason for return to: qart@propertyroom.com
Once approved, customer service will provide you with your RMA number and return instructions. To expedite your return, please print the RMA number on the outside of the return packaging.
