| Notes: | The Dean Thoroughbred Select with Fluence pickups features the specs and aesthetics of the company's high-end line at a working musician's price. The satin-finished mahogany body has a set-in mahogany neck. With its C-shaped profile, your hands will comfortably fret up and down the neck with ease; the ebony fretboard's flat 12" radius makes it easier to bend strings without "fretting out."
Dean loaded the Thoroughbred Select with a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern pickups. These game-changing humbuckers are hum and noise free, with selectable voicing via the push/pull tone pot. Voice 1 is an ideal active alnico sound, full and round. Voice 2 is crisp, clean and fluid. You'll be able to dial-in the perfect tone with 500K audio taper pots which have a very smooth roll.
A string thru body tailpiece contributes to the guitar's sustain. Tuning is a breeze with Grover tuners. Other features include 5-ply body and headstock binding, single-ply neck binding and a chrome logo. |
