Design Details
Obverse
The obverse features a commanding, front-facing image of Superman in flight, arms extended as he soars above the Kent family homestead. His cape flows behind him as the sun rises over the farmland, symbolizing hope, renewal, and the heroic ideals he embodies.
Reverse
The reverse depicts young Clark Kent seated on a wooden fence, gazing upward as an airplane crosses the Kansas sky. Nearby, Jonathan Kent works on his pickup truck—an intimate scene reflecting the grounded, compassionate upbringing that shaped Superman’s moral foundation. Raised by Martha and Jonathan Kent in Smallville, Clark learned the values of integrity, humility, and selflessness long before he became a hero.
