This exceptionally high grade Jefferson Nickel was struck at the Denver Mint and features the classic portrait of Thomas Jefferson on the obverse. The reverse depicts Jefferson's Monticello home with the inscriptions E PLURIBUS UNUM, MONTICELLO, FIVE CENTS and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

The FS designation identifies this example as having Full Steps at the base of Monticello, an important strike characteristic for collectors of Jefferson Nickels.
