Features:
*This is an uncut sheet of O-Pee-Chee Hockey Puck Stickers Insert Cards for the 1968-69 Hockey Season (Bobby Orr Second year), *This sheet is printed on card stock but not on sticker. It was most likely used as a prototype/proof sheet before the cards were printed on actual stickers. This could be one of a kind unless OPC has one stored away in a vault somewhere.
*These stickers were printed in Canada and were inserted one per pack in 1968-69 O-Pee-Chee regular issue hockey packs. They are extremely rare.
*This sheet has a total of 33 Cards: a 21-card set and a bonus Gordie Howe, including :
- Gordie Howe 700th Goal Card, 2x #1 Stan Mikita, 2x #2 Frank Mahovlich, 2x #3 Bobby Hull, 2x #4 Bobby Orr, 2x #5 Phil Esposito, 2x #6 Lorne Worsley, #7 Jean Beliveau, #8 Elmer Vasko, #9 Rod Gilbert, #10 Roger Crozier, #11 Lou Angotti, #12 Charlie Hodge, 2x #13 Glen Hall, 2x #14 Doug Harvey, 2x #15 Jacques Plante, 2x #16 Allan Stanley, 2x #17 Johnny Bower, #18 Tim Horton, #19 Dave Keon, #20 Terry Sawchuk & #21 Henri Richard
*The sheet has some creases and the edges are in reasonable condition. There is a rip at the edge on the top middle part of the sheet (as seen on picture #3) and ink on one of the corners on the back (as seen on the last picture #12) which is blank anyways. Consider the age, the sheet is in very good overall condition.
*The sheet has been rolled-up and stored inside a corrugated cardboard tube for 47 years. As you could see in our pictures that we had to hold the corners down with weights in order to photograph it.
One of a kind item, first time we have seen it in the open market. This is a very cool item and a must have for many NHL historians or collectors. We have a treasure trove and hoard of great vintage items that we will be releasing to the market so check back often!
