Offered here is a lot of two rolls of 1961 Jefferson nickels, consisting of:

The coins are housed in plastic coin tubes and have been stored as a group. Many of the visible coins appear bright with strong luster, though the individual coins have not been professionally graded.

The 1961 Jefferson nickel features Thomas Jefferson on the obverse and Monticello on the reverse. These are standard U.S. Jefferson nickels composed of 75% copper and 25% nickel.

The 1961 Philadelphia issue had a substantially lower mintage than the 1961-D, making the P-mint roll particularly interesting to Jefferson nickel collectors.
