Exact coin pictured is the coin you will receive

The United States introduced the Three-Cent Nickel in 1865 as a replacement for unpopular fractional-currency notes and to help restore usable small change to commerce. The series continued through 1889, and every issue was produced at the Philadelphia Mint.

The obverse features Liberty wearing a coronet, while the reverse displays the Roman numeral III inside a decorative wreath. The coin has a standard weight of 1.94 grams, a diameter of approximately 17.9 millimeters, and a plain edge.

This is genuine United States legal-tender coinage with an official denomination of three cents. Its collectible value is based on its age, condition, scarcity, and numismatic demand rather than its denomination.

Any handwritten grade or notation on the holder is not a third-party certification and is not guaranteed.
