Obverse

Lady Liberty strides forward across a rocky outcrop, holding a torch of enlightenment in one hand and an olive branch of peace in the other. Behind her rise the rays of the sun and the silhouette of the United States Capitol, faithfully echoing Saint-Gaudens’ legendary design.

Reverse

A majestic eagle in flight is depicted from a slightly low angle, soaring above a rising sun with radiating beams. The Golden State Mint hallmark appears above, with the round’s weight and purity inscribed around the upper perimeter.
