The Magli story started early last century, with a capital of 35 Lire and a small business in the basement of a home where brothers Marino and Bruno and their sister Maria started to take in contract work after practicing in the workshop of a cobbler who taught them the art of making and crafting shoe. Soon the large basement became a real artisan workshop until the first Magli factory was set up in 1936: the extreme flexibility and functionality became soon distinctive of the shoe and defined the industrial debut. After the Second World War, export abroad began and the first shop in Italy was opened in Bologna, street Ugo Bassi. The fifties also saw the birth of what was to become the famous Magli moccasin, the introduction of a range especially for men and also the foreign trade to United States.

We want to be sure your purchases will fit, so please compare the provided measurements against your own.
When taking your own measurements, be sure to use a cloth tape measure, and measure against bare skin.
Remember, all sales are final, so be sure your measurements are accurate!
BUST: Measure your bust, including your cup size. (Remember, the clothing measurements we provide in the listings are not a bra size. If the bust measurement says ‘fits bust up to 36”’, this means your bust should be no larger than 36”.
WAIST: Measure the circumference of your natural waistline, above your belly button and below your rib cage. If you wear your clothes below the waist, measure that, too. Don’t suck in your stomach!
HIPS: Measure the circumference of your hips, starting at one hip, wrapping the tape measure around your rear and opposite hip and bringing the tape back to where you started.
RISE: Measure the distance from your crotch towards your belly button. (The crotch is where the seams intersect.) This will give you a number you can compare to the measurement of the rise in the description
INSEAM: Measure from your crotch to the bottom of your ankle. (If you already have pants that fit well, you can measure the rise and inseam there, instead. Also don’t forget that the correct inseam will depend on the heels you wear with the pants.)
SLEEVE LENGTH: Measure from the tip of your shoulder to your wrist.
THIGH: Measure around the fullest part of your thigh.
UPPER ARM: Measure around the widest part of your upper arm.
LENGTH: Our garments are measured from the nape of the neck to the hemline. If there is no neckline (as in a camisole) then length is measured from the shoulder to the hemline
