A Certified Gemologist (GIA) is trained to the highest possible industry standards in evaluating precious gemstones and jewelry. All diamond and gemstone grading are done under A.G.S. / G.I.A. standards as the mounting permits. All weights and measurements are estimated and approximate. "Total Carat Weight" is a conservative weight as stones are not removed from their mountings for exact measurements. Industry standard and accepted treatments for gemstones are assumed unless otherwise noted. However, treatments or enhancements are not always detectable.
