1776-2026-P Mayflower Compact Quarter ICG MS66 Initial Release

This 2026-P quarter is part of the United States Semiquincentennial coin program celebrating the 250th anniversary of American independence. The coin features the Mayflower Compact design and has been certified by ICG as MS66 with the Initial Release designation.

The Mayflower Compact holds an important place in early American history. It was signed aboard the Mayflower in 1620 by settlers before they established Plymouth Colony. The agreement created a framework in which the signers agreed to form a civil government and follow laws created for the good of the colony. It is often discussed as an important early example of self government in what would eventually become the United States.

The reverse design connects the quarter directly to this history, featuring imagery representing the signing of the Mayflower Compact and the Mayflower itself.

The Philadelphia Mint produced this example, indicated by the P mint mark. ICG has certified the coin MS66, a high Mint State grade indicating a well preserved uncirculated example with strong overall eye appeal.
