Older Rolex Spoon, Bucherer of Switzerland Lion of Lucerne Souvenir Spoon

Bucherer Jewelers (Lucerne, Switzerland) gave customers one of these Rolex Souvenir spoons when they purchased a Rolex watch.

Bucherer never sold the spoons separately which has helped make them collectible today.

MEASURES: 4 1/4” long, 6/8" at its widest point

This is an older early ROLEX silver plate demitasse spoon from Bucherer Of Switzerland. The newer versions of these spoons were in stainless steel, but this one is silver plate as evidenced by the back marking. The stem is marked B 100 12' which is a German marking for silver plate.

The crest at the top of the spoon is marked, 'ROLEX' and, 'BUCHERER' at the bottom. 
The end of the handle features Rolex Bucherer tree and crown crest, and the bowl of the spoon features the famous lion and is marked "LUCERNE".

"WATCHES' is stamped on the stem, just beneath the crest, which is more unusual. 
Also, more unusual is there is no city imprinted on the stem of this one,making it stand out from the crowd.
