Previously...

Daniel Troy, sent on a mission to discover the reason behind the disappearance of the star Ar-Chi, encounters the mysterious Rhiannon, who helps him bring into existence Shadow Star.  While Troy learns of his new power, given to him by Shadow Star, the silver haired woman fights and defeats the villainous Conqueror Moon.  Troy, meanwhile, is accused of the murder of his superior, Sev Paravon.  Escaping from the StarCorp HQ, Troy and his complink Forbin meet FoxFur, a galactic rogue and adventurer.  Together with FoxFur's companion Raz, the group set out for Astar where a friend of FoxFur's is.

Rhiannon, moving in her own mysterious way, enlists the aid of an old acquaintance in recovering a long lost object that Rhiannon now needs.  Back on Astar, the council of Sev's hires an assassin to dispatch Troy while, finally, Abyss, aware of the defeat of his minion Moon, decides to step into the arena himself, his goal the black hole accidentally created by Shadow Star during her battle with Moon.

...and now...

A space captain gains superhuman powers when he encounters the Shadow Star. Daniel and his band of heroes face off against Abyss in the final conflict known as the Darkwar. Final issue of the series.
