Some tips about installation:
The monitor with flexible mounting pad and 3M tape mounts on either the vehicle windshield or dashboard.
1. Choose a suitable monitor location in your vehicle that will not block your view for safe driving.
2. Clean the mounting area you’ve chosen with a quality glass cleaner or alcohol to remove any dirt or residue.
3. Peel off the protective film from the 3M adhesive mounting pad on the bottom of the monitor bracket and then affix the pad to the desired location.
NB: Once put in place, the mounting pad cannot be easily removed. Therefore, before mounting, please be sure of your desired location.
4. Connect the power cable to the monitor cable.
5. Conceal the monitor cable behind the windshield trim piece and then continue along under the head liner to the rear of the vehicle.
Warnings and Precautions
• Do not drop or subject the monitor to extreme, rough use, as it may cause defects to the unit.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify this monitor. Doing so could result in personal injury and / or product failure.
•Make sure to secure the monitor in a way that can effectively prevent its loosening under any circumstances (e.g. abrupt braking or acceleration).
• Place the monitor away from direct sun light, heat, water or moisture. This product is made with precise electronic components.Please handle with strict care. Improper use may cause a malfunction.
• The rearview monitor system should only be used when the vehicle is in reverse. Do not watch movies or operate the monitor while driving, as it may cause an accident.
• Do not install the monitor where it may obstruct your vision or trigger an airbag.
• Discontinue use of the monitor if its housing has been damaged.
• For safety considerations and/or to prevent potential damage to the monitor system, please ensure correct power polarity.
