The vehicle is considered to be in run/drive condition (the key was recently inserted into the ignition and the engine started.)  True run/drive condition cannot be determined.

The vehicle has not been inspected by a certified mechanic so the overall running condition cannot be verified. It is suggested that the winning bidder have the vehicle thoroughly inspected prior to attempting to drive it.

The winning bidder is responsible for obtaining all legal documents to drive vehicle.  Buyer will need to obtain registration and temporary plates to drive vehicle. If these are not present the buyer will need to have the vehicle towed at their own expense.

•    There are additional Fees imposed by and to be paid directly to the tow yard at time of pick up. All additional fees must be paid at time of pick-up in cash; no other payment method will be accepted. These Fees include, but may not be limited to:

If the winning bidder lives within 50 miles of Times Square, NY, the vehicle must be picked up within 2 business days of payment or additional storage fees will be charged at the time of pickup at $25 per day for vehicles less than 11,000 pounds GVWR, and $50 per day for vehicles greater than 11,000 pounds GVWR. If the winning bidder lives outside of 50 miles of Times Square, NY, the vehicle must be picked up within 3 business days of payment or additional storage fees will be charged at the time of pickup at $25 per day for vehicles less than 11,000 pounds GVWR, and $50 per day for vehicles greater than 11,000 pounds GVWR. The 50 miles will be based upon the address shown on your valid driver’s license. Buyer’s driver’s license will be used to determine distance from Time Square (i.e. – If you receive this at 8 am or 10 pm on a Monday and you live 60 miles from Times Square, you may pick up the vehicle by 5 pm on Thursday without paying any storage fees). Saturday and Sunday do not count as business days. The towing company storing your vehicle can make your vehicle available for pickup on weekends for an additional fee. Please contact the towing company for information on this fee. Otherwise, you may pick up your vehicle on the next business day.

Please contact the tow yard before attempting to pick up your vehicle to ensure that they have received all documentation pertaining to its release, and that the vehicle is ready to go.

The winning bidder must have a picture ID at time of pickup or the pickup designee must have picture ID and a letter from winning bidder allowing the designee to pick up vehicle.  The letter must contain a copy of the winning bidders driver’s license.

When applicable for a given ASSET, BUYER bears responsibility for determining motor vehicle registration requirements in the applicable jurisdiction as well as costs, including any fees, registration fees, taxes, etc., owed as a result of BUYER registering an ASSET; for example, BUYER bears sole responsibility for all title/registration/smog and other such fees.

You are responsible for any damages to property, including spills or releases of hazardous substances, which might occur during the removal process. Failure by you or your agent to clean up any releases or to repair any damages may result in you being banned from future participation in our auctions, and you may be reported to the appropriate authorities, as well as other remedies that may be available to us or to any other party damaged by your actions.

The winning bidder will receive a notification email from PropertyRoom.com following auction close.
