By the mid 1900’s Croton had become one of the most sought after and respected names in watches. In 1991 the brand was acquired by Nationwide Time, a family owned business specializing in the manufacture and wholesale of fine timepieces for generations. Nationwide Time had been searching for the right brand to infuse their experience, energy and passion into and they found it in Croton. Nationwide Time President David Mermelstein explains “ our family had been quite successful in the watch business since the 1960’s. This fine CROTON watch is part of a special inventory blowout and may have been used as a demo, sample, on display or used to shoot the stock photos. Due to this some of these items may have slight wear on them including very slight scratches on the case and buckle some not visible at all. We assure you that this product was handled with great care and this will not and does not effect the high quality of this product or warranty in anyway.
